2003 Flashback: Scandalous - Mis-Teeq

Thursday 29 March marks exactly 10 years since British r&b group Mis-Teeq reached number two in the charts with their popular hit song Scandalous.

The tune was written and co-produced by band members Sabrina Washington, Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash; and collaborators Rustan Hallgeir, Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen for the group’s second studio album, Eye Candy.

Scandalous became one of the trio’s biggest hits, alongside their 2001 release All I Want, and reached the top 10 in the UK, Australia, Denmark, Ireland and New Zealand.

It also featured as the theme song of 2004 film Catwoman, starring Halle Berry, and was later re-recorded for a Giorgio Armani perfume advert.
