Blacks in Israel
08:20 - Thursday 10 May 2012 - In Categories World News, World VideosA group of black Americans in Israel accuse the government of failing to properly recognise their citizenship, even though they’ve lived in the country for the past 40 years.
The community of 3000 men, women and children, known as African Hebrew Israelites, relocated to Israel from the US in 1972.
However, since returning to their ‘Promised Land’ 40 years ago, the group say they regularly face injustice and racism.
