2002 Flashback: Champagne Dance - Pay As U Go Cartel

This month marks 10 years since Pay As You Go Cartel stormed the UK chart with gritty, club banger Champagne Dance.
East London MCs Wiley, Major Ace, Plague and Maxwell D, alongside singer Dom P reached number 13 in March 2002, and performed the tune on Top Of The Pops.
The pioneering artists were part of a 10-strong collective, which also included DJs Target, Slimzee and Geeneus, and fellow MCs Gods Gift and Flow Dan.
The crew split soon after their chart success, and in 2005 Wiley went on to spearhead Roll Deep.
