In 1998, Brandy and Monica reached number two in the charts with The Boy Is Mine, and now the pair have reunited to record It All Belongs To Me – the debut single for Brandy’s sixth album, due out this summer.
The verdict: We love it!
Earlier this week, Brandy announced on Twitter that in June she’d be dropping the new album, Two Eleven, in June.
The numbers commemorate the singer’s birthday and the date brother Ray Jay’s girlfriend, Whitney Houston, passed away.
An array of producers and singer-songwriters, including Timbaland, Frank Ocean, Chris Brown, Drake and Rodney Jerkins have contributed to the album, and we can’t wait to hear it.
Yeah I think you are taking this a ltilte too seriously. I think people just loved seeing Monica and Brandy together. It was crazy during that time people kept arguing over who the guy really wanted lol. I think it actually had less to do with them fighting over the guy and more to do with the fans just wanting their fave to win. When Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney came out with this song no one tried to pit them against each other. I think that is the real issue.
