Nottingham Forest Ladies Secure Back to Back Wins

It’s been a long time coming, but Nottingham Forest Ladies have at last recorded their first back to back wins of the FA Women’s Premier League season.

Striker Suzanne Davies netted the winner in Forest’s 2-1 triumph over Aston Villa, exactly a week after goals from Davies and Natasha Meade secured the team’s first win of the season; a 3-0 victory against Barnet Ladies.

Forest’s Director of Football and Assistant Manager, Lisa Dawkins, told Overground: ‘It’s been a long time coming. We played well in our game against reigning champions Sunderland, but couldn’t get the breaks.

‘Finally, we’ve been rewarded for playing some good football. We know we have the ability, and players like Natasha Meade who will score if you give her the ball in the box.’
