In August 2001, British hip-hop legend Roots Manuva reached number 45 in the charts with Witness (1 Hope).
Following this pioneering release, he went on to record a series of top-selling albums and collaborations with dance acts such as Gorillaz, Nightmares on Wax and Beth Orton.
To celebrate the release of his latest single, Watch Me Dance (with Toddla T), Manuva performs alongside Banana Klan colleague Ricky Ranking, Shola Ama, Terri Walker and Serocee on 26 August at Corsica Studios in Waterloo. Buy tickets here.
