Earlier this week, Alesha Dixon split with music label Asylum Records, citing ’creative differences’.
Dixon’s management released a statement, saying: ‘It became clear during our discussions that both Alesha and her label had some creative differences which we were unable to resolve and it was mutually agreed that the best course of action for both parties was to part company on good terms.
‘Alesha would like to thank Asylum records for their support and hard work over the past two albums and wish them all the best going forward.
‘We are currently in discussions with other labels and look forward to a new record in 2012.’
But the news isn’t stopping Alesha from enjoying the summer season. She’s scheduled to perform in Ibiza this week for a Twice As Nice opening party in club Eden.
