Overground Online in the Observer Newspaper

Overground Online editor Akosua Annobil Dodoo discusses sex and interracial relationships in this week’s Observer newspaper.
A survey by the world’s oldest paper into sex habits found that around 40 per cent of 35 to 44 year-olds have had sex with someone of a different colour – a far higher number than any other age group.
Speaking in newspaper’s supplement Sex Uncovered, Akosua said: ‘I don’t believe there’s any real reason why some people are attracted to mixed-race relationships. What is clear, however, is that it matters a lot less now than it did half a century ago.’
