Who Was Elizabeth Taylor?
07:41 - Friday 25 March 2011 - In Categories UK News, World Entertainment, US Videos
The memorial service of Dame Elizabeth Taylor DBE took 15 minutes behind schedule last night – because the Hampstead-born actress had left instructions that she wanted to be late for her own funeral.
Although she was widely regarded as the world’s most beautiful leading lady throughout most of the 20th century, little is known about the women who claimed to barely remember a time she wasn’t famous.
Click here to watch a short review of Taylor’s life by US journalist and author Barbara Walters, who interviewed the actress five times.
