On 18 January 1986, Jamaican supermodel Grace Jones reached number 12 in the UK with Pull Up to the Bumper.
The iconic singer, who lives in Denmark, but has a home in north London, is famous for her sexy looks and attitude.
Her lewd disco track was originally a US hit in 1981, but it took another five years to crack the UK market eventually becoming Jones’ biggest-selling single.
