Man Protests against Government Cuts by Throwing Himself over Balcony

Romania’s Prime Minister, Emil Boc, was forced to abandon a speech last week after a father threw himself headfirst over a 23ft high balcony in parliament.
As he jumped, Adrian Sobaru, whose payments for his disabled child had been cut by the government, shouted: ‘Boc, you’ve taken away the rights of our children’.
Sobaru suffered facial fractures and was heard shouting ‘Liberty and Justice’ as he was taken to hospital.
