Channel 4 Star to Perform at London Charity Gig

Rapper and TV star Ayo Adesina will perform at a charity in east London this Friday 10 December.

Ayo, also known as rapper Dark-E, currently appears in Channel 4’s popular fly-on-the-wall series The Family.

The 27-year-old works as a freelance web designer, but has plans to release an album alongside his Hackney-based rap collective Team Starvin

Dark-E is confirmed to appear alongside a string of talented entertainers at One Night Stand, taking place at Cargo in Shoreditch.

Organiser Mitch Fly says: ‘Ayo has been doing his thing on the music scene for a while.

‘He’ll be coming to our event to give his first live performance since appearing on Channel 4’s TV show.

‘In fact, a few members of The Family will be attending the night. It’s going to be a big one.’

One Night Stand will be hosted by Lil Man, and feature top London comedians such as FHM Stand-Up Hero Marlon Davis, Jamie Howard, Prince Abdi, and Dee Kartier.

Other highlights include a prize raffle draw and special guest PAs from Young Nate, Perry Morgan and Pepstar.

Proceeds from the fundraiser go to Saint Francis Hospice’s Go Yellow campaign, which helps maintain vital services to people suffering from cancer, heart disease and other terminal illnesses.
