This week marks exactly 15 years since Michael Jackson topped the UK charts with Earth Song.
The track, which became the 1995 Christmas number one, highlights the environmental and animal welfare issues facing future generations and is Jackson’s best-selling single in the UK.
Last year, Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker apologized for storming on stage during Jackson’s performance of Earth Song during the 1996 BRIT Awards.
