Jeremy Kyle Can't Wait to Break America
13:07 - Wednesday 24 November 2010 - In Category UK Entertainment
Mouthy TV presenter Jeremy Kyle will launch a US version of his daytime talkshow next year.
American broadcasters including Fox, CBS, Hearst and Sinclair have agreed to air the show to be co-produced by ITV Studios America and US distributors Debmar-Mercury.
Kyle says: ‘For the programme to be picked up by stations owned by media giants like Fox, CBS and Hearst and scheduled to be shown daily across America is incredibly exciting for me.
‘I can’t wait to start production and build a following for the programme in the US which is as strong as the one we enjoy in the UK.’
In March this year, Kyle celebrated the show’s 1000th episode after launching on ITV1 in 2005.
