Haitians living in tent camps since the January earthquake face double devastation from a hurricane and cholera epidemic.
One million Haitians have been told to evacuate the area ahead of tropical storm Tomas, but many have nowhere to go.
The storm, which killed 14 people in St Lucia, is expected to reach Haiti on Friday and brush the coasts of Jamaica, Cuba, Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas over the weekend.
Weather experts say Tomas has weakened, but will regain strength causing heavy flooding and landslides.
In recent weeks, 442 people have died and 6,742 others were hospitalised following a cholera outbreak.
Musician and former Presidential candidate Wyclef Jean believes the disease is more lethal than the hurricane and claims authorities have underestimated the number of cholera cases.
Wyclef jean is an hero , I’m taking this opportunity to thank him for everything he has done so from hurricane to heath quake and from cholera to hurricane tomas and counting death in a devastated nation .
