Kojo Talks Harlem, Hackney and the Cosby Show

Multi award-winning comedian Kojo is one of the hardest working entrepreneurs on the entertainment circuit.

Over the past decade, the 29-year-old has launched London’s first black comedy club, Da Comedy Fun House, and earned himself three Black Entertainment Comedy Awards.

Overground witnessed his skill and professionalism first-hand when he performed an impromptu routine hosting the Channel U Awards in 2005.

After gigs presenting CBBC’s Mighty Truck of Stuff and his debut sell out one-man-show, Fresh Prince of Hackney, the comedian returns this week with Kojo’s Comedy Fun House on MTV Base.

In this exclusive interview, he talks about his groundbreaking new show, moving to the US, and explains why, although he’s a comedian, Kojo’s not trying to fool anyone.
