Kill Me if You're Brave, Ecuador President Tells Police Protestors
23:46 - Thursday 30 September 2010 - In Category World News
Thousands of police officers in Ecuador have taken to the streets in protest against government cutbacks.
Yesterday, President Rafael Correa was forced to defend his austerity measures. He told police who stormed an airport: ‘Kill me if you’re brave.
‘But we will continue with one policy; one of justice, dignity, and we will not take one step backwards.’
