Goldie's Son Sent to Jail for Murder
19:02 - Tuesday 07 September 2010 - In Category UK News
Jamie Price, the son of drum and bass musician Goldie, has been sent to prison for a minimum of 21 years for the murder of disabled man Marlon Morris.
Price, a member of Wolverhampton’s Heath Town gang, killed Morris during a drunken brawl in August 2008.
Goldie, who is currently filming a BBC reality TV show with Prince Harry and Ms Dynamite, was not in court as Price, pictured, was handed the life sentence.
Passing sentence, Judge John Milmo QC, said: ‘The background here is gang culture.
‘The refusal of gangs to accept the law of the land, coupled with the desire to impose their own anarchic ways, cannot be tolerated by society.’
