We Know Marvell Boys Are Future of Grime
21:26 - Thursday 02 September 2010 - In Category UK Entertainment
Last month, we attended the Making a Difference youth festival at Ministry of Sound and saw impressive new grime trio Marvell Boys perform their latest hit, We Know.
Already, Vertex, Shocka and Double S have won an Official Mix Tape Award (OMA) for Best Newcomer, clocked over 300,000 YouTube views and supported Chipmunk on tour.
We Know is out 10 October.
‘Winning the OMA was a big achievement for us,’ they told 18-year-old reporter Lamis B Aurelien.
‘We see ourselves as newcomers to the mainstream music scene, but as underground artists we’ve been doing this for a long time.’
