Stevie Wonder Part-Time Lover 25 Year Anniversary
17:22 - Wednesday 01 September 2010 - In Category Memory Bank
On 7 September 1985, multi-talented singer and musician Stevie Wonder reached number three in the UK charts with Part-Time Lover.
The song is an early example of contemporary pop music and made Stevie the first artist to reach number one on four seperate Billboard charts.
More importantly, thanks largely to his superlative computer programming skills (Mr Wonder was the first artist to use a digital sampling synthesizer), it still sounds fresh today.
