Ghana UK Based Achievement Awards Launch Party
15:54 - Wednesday 01 September 2010 - In Category UK EntertainmentCelebrities including Ghana’s national football team captain John Mensah, Eastenders actor Devon Anderson and rapper Sway attended the press launch for the Ghana UK Based Achievement (GUBA) awards ceremony in London last week.
The ceremony, which takes place on Sunday 24 October, will honour 16 individuals and businesses that serve the Ghanaian community and have excelled through hard work and diligence in Britain.
Legendary afro-pop group Osibisa are to receive a lifetime achievement award while other nominees include chart-topping rapper Tinchy Stryder, shipping company Cargo Vision and Choice FM DJ Abrantee.
