Wendy Lewis, dubbed ‘Britain’s most disgusting woman’ after she was caught on CCTV urinating on a war memorial in Blackpool, escaped jail after receiving a 15-week suspended sentence.
Lewis was identified after a video of the CCTV footage was released on the internet causing a media frenzy.
Deputy District Judge Roger Lowe said: ‘You desecrated the war memorial and sullied the memories of those people who died in the world wars. The public has been quite properly outraged.’
