Usher Introduces Stratford Singer Justin Bieber
11:41 - Tuesday 28 April 2009 - In Category US Videos
Grammy-winning r&b don Usher introduced his 15-year-old protégé, Justin Bieber, to tastemakers during a prestigious lunch in Los Angeles earlier this week.
Talented Bieber, from Stratford, Ontario, started singing three years ago, and was spotted by former So So Def executive Scooter Braun after posting homemade videos of himself on YouTube.
Usher auditioned the Canadian teenager after the pair met by chance in Atlanta. A record deal with Island Def Jam chairman LA Reid followed in October 2008.
Bieber’s first single, One Time, has already hit radio airwaves in the US. His debut album, My World, is set for release later this year.
