A popular London DJ has released a free online mixtape featuring British and American hip-hop collaborations.
DJ Longers, who is part of G-Ents sound system and a resident DJ at Kojo’s Comedy Fun House, released Get Crunk 2: UK vs USA earlier this week.
Get Crunk 2 brings together a range of big name stars and underground talent, such as Juelz Santana and Pyrelli, and Shawty Lo & Ludacris with Giggs.
Longers told Overgroundonline: ‘The reason for this collaboration CD is the fact that, generally, the everyday person who likes r&b and hip-hop doesn’t rate the UK.
‘In order to get their attention, I put our homegrown artists up with the Americans just for people to see that we are as good, or in some cases better, then our US counterparts.’
